DeFi dApps

First, we wanted to highlight some of the most popular and trusted dApps, which you can use on a daily basis (we know we do). Many of these protocols are tried and true favorites and essentially must-knows!

Utilize hundreds of liquidity pools and trade with high liquidity, low slippage, and low transaction fees on Curve.

Curve is one of the most useful protocols for stable assets. We love the low slippage factor and the possibility to add any type of asset to the pool. This is for anyone who wants to try something different than the usual 50/50 liquidity on other platforms. If you lock your tokens for a period of 4 weeks to 4 years, you get a boost in your yields and gain voting power! We give this dApp a 5-start rating. 🌟 Definitely try this one out if you haven’t yet – you don’t want to miss out on the low fees.

Sushi allows you to optimize your trades across hundreds of DEXs on multiple networks.

Sushi has a great DEX infrastructure and a big plus is its multi-chain AMM – this popular platform is the AMM DEX and LP. Start on this classic protocol by staking sushi for xSushi and receive some scrumptious payouts. 🍣

Borrow stablecoins at 0% without selling your crypto (and borrow MAI and multiply your exposure to crypto) on QiDao.

This protocol is one of our favorites! QiDAO allows you to leverage your holdings by letting you borrow MAI stablecoins against your tokens. You pay zero fees on your borrowing position and are only charged a low 0.05% fixed fee of your collateral for repayment. Depending on the collateral you use, you also get a bonus APY on your borrowing position. One notable downside is that depending on the collateral you use, vaults will reach the maximum minting capability (usually stables vaults). Still, borrowing your first MAI stablecoins can get you some magical results. Get started by creating vaults made of interest-bearing tokens on different chains and mint stables using your underlying assets to have some DeFi fun.

AAVE lets you earn on your deposits and borrow assets.

AAVE is a great stepping stone into DeFi. It facilitates borrowing and lending at its core. Using AAVE, you can borrow at a fixed or variable interest without having to worry about the safety of your assets.

With Convex, you can deposit liquidity to earn boosted CRV and rewards.

Convex allows Curve.fi liquidity providers to earn trading fees and claim boosted CRV without locking up their CRV. It is designed to help you maximize the yield on your CRV – the great thing about Convex is that you only need to put in minimal effort to receive boosted CRV and liquidity mining rewards.

Solend is an algorithmic, decentralized protocol for lending and borrowing on Solana.

We find Solend to be the most useful DEX in all of Solana’s ecosystem. The user interface is flawless, which provides a smooth experience for when you lend, borrow, and even long and short assets. You can start by transferring assets from other networks using Wormhole bridge, lend them USD, borrow USTD, and earn a surplus on the borrowed interest. Use Saber or Jupiter to swap USDT to USD, borrow more and repeat the cycle 🔁. This way, you can leverage borrowing at negative interest by swapping between stables.
